Dr. Claudine Després

Dr. Després completed her medical studies and residency in family medicine at Laval University. She subsequently completed a one-year specialization in sport medicine at McGill University. She is certified as a family medicine physician by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP), a sports and exercise physician by the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine (CASEM) and is a certified Sports First Responder and Sports Emergency Medical Responder. She was a physician for the 2022 Canada Summer Games. She is a member of the Montreal Alouettes (CFL) medical team since 2021. She is the head physician for the Concordia University women’s rugby team, as well as assisting with medical coverage for football and hockey games.
